CAR CLUBS WELCOME! Car clubs and individual car enthusiasts are welcome to bring their cars to The Milwaukee Mile to participate in the Drive The Mile Car Show. May 3rd is a great opportunity to drive your vehicle for three laps around America's Legendary oval and then display your car for the public to enjoy all day. Pre-registration for this years car show has ended. Cars show registration is now only allowed the day of the event. Admission is $15 plus 2 (or more) non-perishable food items to be donated to the Hunger Task Force. Enter fairgrounds gate 1 and follow the directional signage to the backstretch of the track. Parking within the car show will be on a first come - first sereved basis, so if you would like to park as a group, please arrive together. Car show registration opens at 7:00am and closes at 10:00am. No cars will be admitted to the car show after registration has ended. Car show participants must take their laps before 10:00am. Breakfast will be at 7:30 at Johnny V's. It's on 86 st between Lapham and National Ave. If anyone is unfamiliar with the area just PM me. We will be leaving for the track at 8:15 (its like a minute drive). We have to get there early just because it is a first come first serve basis. If I get the car done, I'll go. Motor is back in so I think I could make it. Post up people if you plan on going, and we'll make a list from there. Breakfast anyone?

jdubbs01gti, might as well start a list in your 1st post Only reason we did Pegasus vs Jonny V's is that they were open early enough to get us going. Don't mind something different but it better have decent parking & food. Drive the Mile InfoClub registration info here (PDF)

We had to pre-register by April 15, 2009, so much for that. But if we all arrive together, we can park together.

That-a-boy ! I'll be doing breakfast too. Hoping to have the car done by then. Is this rain-or-shine? Wanna handle this like a KK for weather permitting? I would send out a Venom member e-mail with the link to this thread to make sure that people who do not frequent the forums also know about this. If you don't want to or know how, let me know & I'll send one out
