Yep. I bought that '95 Jetta that was posted on Vortex for $500. Installed a new wheel cylinder today (in the driveway BRrrrr!).
Now I just need to bleed the brakes. I think there's air in all the lines...

Anyway here's some pics the previous owner posted. I'll get more later.

Looks to be in really nice shape! Gonna flip it or rock it out for a bit?

Going teach Donna to drive stick in it (better than the Scirocco right?) and then put it up for sale.

and fix the oil leaks (almost as bad as BP's leak) and the exhaust, and the sun visor, and lower it, and align it, and replace the air intake boot, and a couple tires.

Find a buyer, and realize I've sunk too much work/money into it to make a proffit, and pull it off the market, and drive it...till?

Now that it's lower, I think you need some new wheels. BBS RC's maybe Big gring

Want to make a short shifter for it? Easily done by cutting/welding one of the shift levers.

Disable the DRL's. Doing that has saved me a lot in replacing light bulbs every six months.

And do a Golf front end swap. I have a nice hood with some carbon vents in it Wave
