ok well i bought my jetta form a guy in racine, and he had installed a aftermarket head unit and i like the stock better. so while i was in iraq i bought a double din realized it would not fit and sold it. then i bought a single din from ecs and it works great turns on finds stations but does not have any sound. here is a link to the radio that i bought. http://www.ecstuning.com...terior/Stereo/ES307049/ im really confused why i have no sound. did i buy the wrong radio? what radio came stock on a 2001 wolfsburg 1.8t? any help would be great

btw sorry if there are spelling errors and punctuation errors i have terrible typing skills

Looks like the proper one to me. How many plugs were in back? 2 or three? All snap in OK? You might have to have someone with VAG Com turn on the amplifier also if equipped.
